The Jersey Action Riders (J.A.R.) is a social and recreational mountain bike club based in southern New Jersey.

JAR is an affiliated club of the International Mountain Bicycle Association (IMBA) and the Jersey Off-Road Bicycling Association (JORBA). JAR is associated with the Delaware Valley Mountain Bike Patrol (DVMBP).

Since JAR was founded in May of 1997, we have riden in all seasons at places like Allaire, Hartshorne, Mercer Park and Wharton State Forest in New Jersey; Fair Hill NRMA and Susquehanna Park in Maryland; Middle Run and White Clay Creek Parks in Delaware, Blue Marsh Lake, French Creek and Wissahickon Valley Park in Pennsylvania. to name a few. And we are always looking for a new place to ride.

With an ever growing membership, we are a true network of like-minded trail adventurers. If you're not a member, what are you waiting for...the more the merrier! We welcome everyone - all riding abilities - to come and join the fun.

In addition to our weekly ride schedule, we offer monthly beginner riding clinics, BiMping trips (biking + camping) and Team JAR excursions to the races. JAR also participates in trail maintenance projects and National Mountain Bike Patrol training.
