The JAR - D&Q Mountain Bike Skills Clinic Series
The Jersey Action Riders Mountain Bike Club and Danzeisen & Quigley are offering a free, once a month off-road mountain biking clinic for first timers and beginner mountain bicyclists. This clinic is for guys, gals, old and young!
We will demonstrate and teach riding techniques and answer questions covering all aspects of the sport of mountain biking. The free sessions will be taught by experienced mountain bicyclists and National Moutain Bike Patrol certified instructors.
Some of the riding techniques covered will include:

  • Gear Selection - climbing/descending/prestaging.
  • Proper Braking.
  • Clearing Obstacles - rocks, logs, etc...
  • Trail Etiquette.
  • Basic Trailside Bike Repair.
  • Basic Bike Preparation
  • Track Stands
  • Bunny Hops
  • And much, much more.

What you need to bring:

  • Bike
  • Bike helmet (required)
  • Water bottle (filled with water)
